Your privacy

We only collect what we need to fill your order or answer your message: your name, email, and, if we're shipping to you, your address and an optional phone number. We use it for that and nothing else, and we never sell it. The one exception is if you tick the box to hear from us: then we'll email you when new packs come out and how much we raised for charity each season. That's optional, and you can unsubscribe anytime by replying to any of those emails or writing to us. It's shared only with the services that help us do the job: our form service passes your order or message to our email inbox, orders are saved in our order spreadsheet (Google Sheets), Wise handles payments from the U.S., and Canada Post or USPS gets your address when we mail your order. We keep order details only as long as we need them for our records. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information anytime by email. This site doesn't use tracking cookies, analytics or ads. Our fonts load from Google Fonts.

Orders & payment

Prices are in Canadian dollars. After you place an order, pay by Interac e-Transfer to [email protected]. Your bank will show the name Grace Garvey, which is us. Orders from the U.S. are paid by Wise: we'll email your total, including shipping, and how to pay. We drop off or mail your cards once payment arrives. If payment hasn't arrived within 7 days, we may cancel the order. Cards That Give Back isn't a registered charity, so purchases don't come with a tax receipt.

Drop-off & shipping

We drop off for free anywhere on the North Shore and in Nelson, B.C., and can leave your cards with a friend in town. Anywhere else in Canada, we mail your cards: $5 for one pack and $8 for two or more. U.S. orders go out in batches, mailed from inside the U.S., so there's no customs or duty to deal with. Use our U.S. order form and we'll email you your total with shipping. For anywhere else, email us and we'll work it out.

Returns

If your cards arrive damaged or something is wrong with your order, email us within 14 days and we'll make it right with a replacement or a refund.

Where the money goes

All profits go to charity. This holiday season, they go to the Nelson Community Food Centre. Profit is what's left after the costs of printing, envelopes, packaging and shipping.
